To Dad

I miss you...... I wouldn't wish you back from where you are today, but there is some thing in me that wishes you could see my children and do Grandpa things with them. I used to tell you that I wanted to be a carpenter and build you a house when I grew up. Well Dad, I'm a carpenter now and I fix lots of peoples houses including yours. I know the house you're in now will never need fixing.....wow!!!
I wish I had spent more time with you while you were here. The thing I remember most about you from the last few years of your life was the way you never complained about your disability and accepted God's plan for your life. Thank-you ......... I miss you Dad but I am looking forward to spending lots of time with you later........... Enjoy your rest Dad. I love you!!
